Community & Volunteer Projects
Every year Heather's Victory Gardens commits to a Community or Volunteer Project where we offer free gardening, planting &/or floral services.
2022 Community Project will be creating a garden sanctuary for Daniel Spranger. Daniel is 16 years old and was hospitalized with COVID-19. He has spent months in the pediatric ICU battling multiple complications. Daniel's family are looking to the community to help create a beautiful garden in his backyard so that when he does return home, he has a serene oasis where he can relax. Daniel was born with multiple health issues, including spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy. An accessible wheelchair path will be donated by a local landscape company and Heather's Victory Gardens will be donating flower starts, building new garden spaces, raised beds and any additional garden and planting needs for Daniel's garden.
